How do I install my SMART ethanol burner?

Installing a SMART ethanol burner is as easy as plugging it in and dropping it into the prepared cavity! Follow the steps below to install your SMART burner and smartphone app.

Plug in the SMART ethanol burner.

Use the two handles to lift the burner and fit it into the existing fireplace surround. (*Please make sure to remove the handles before using the SMART ethanol burner.)

Grab your phone and search for “The Bio Flame” in your app store. If you’re having trouble locating the app on iPhone or Android, please email us at hello@thebioflame.com so we can send across a QR code to get you started.

After installing the app on your phone, connect to the “The Bio Flame” Wi-Fi network. When prompted, enter the following password: “0123456789” and you’re all set!

Where can I install my SMART ethanol fireplace?

You can use the SMART burner in any Bio Flame ethanol fireplace, such as a free-standing fireplace, or wall-mounted fireplace, as ethanol fireplace burner inserts to replace an existing, traditional fireplace, or as a burner insert in a firebox setting.

It looks great and was easy to install. We have not fueled it up yet.. Only issue we had is the fueling compartment hatch door will not latch, and since its spring loaded it is always "open". How can we address this without sending it back as homeowners are moving in on 7/3?

I ordered Bio Flame’s smart burner for my home back in January; from the ordering process to the shipment at my home I received nothing but excellent customer service.
I am also pleased with the product, the remote control feature with connection to my Smart home system provided convenience and ease into my home.
The fuel I ordered with allows for an odorless and sootless fire, which has made the clean-up easier and the experience enjoyable.
Ethanol fires are definitely the way to go, I can honestly say I’m never going back to wood or gas fires again.
